Department of Education & Training
Description
The Department of Education and Training regulates and assesses education and care services including kindergartens, long day care centres, before and after school services, family day care services and occasional care services. There are several authorised officers in the Grampians region who help and advise approved providers, educators and parent son issues relating to education and care services.
Activities
The Department of Education and Training also has a Koori Education Coordinator (KEC) and provides Koorie Engagement Support Officer (KESO) for Koorie children and their families to assist with appropriate services and support.
